Description

The PhD program qualifies the student to obtain a degree in social work through many courses that have been carefully developed. The program extends over two semesters, the student studies 24 credits and carry on  a research in social work field.

Objectives

Preparing social workers in the fields of social works.

Achieving leadership in preparing educational and research programs, field work, to apply theoretical  knowledge based  the  problems of society.

 Carrying out research to serve individuals and society, to provide  appropriate solutions for social issues.

Participation in the community  development, through professional programs and activities in the areas of social services.

Employing modern technology in educational programs.

 Dissemination the awareness of community issues.

Entry Reuirements

Obtaining a Master's degree in Social Work.

Employer approval for full-time or part-time study workers.

Submit an original copy of the transcript and the contents of all the courses that the applicant studied at the undergraduate and master’s levels.

Students are accepted according to the priority of their estimates in the first university degree.

The PhD in Social Work prepares students to qualify for PhD in Social Work. The student studies several subjects which have been carefully chosen in this major to cover its different aspects.
